Lake Hudson Musky Trip, October 25, 2024

Lake Hudson Musky Trip, October 25, 2024

Finally got a rainy cloudy day to try for Musky in this Dry sunny fall weather.  Lake Hudson was the better choice for the South West wind forecast.  I fished 4 shorelines good for Musky and stayed with the White 5/0 Dive Banger because the small bass were liking it.  I had 5 hits it but only one stayed on. Switched to a 3/0 White one tried some new shorelines and got more bass hits but only 2 about 13 inches stayed on. 3/0 and 5/0 Dive Bangers Towards evening I reworked  a favorite Musky shoreline.  Now pods of Bluegills...

Nine bass 15 to 18 inches of 11 hooked.  Only a few smaller, one was 14 inches.  The two that came off were bigger than 18 inches.  Wasn't sure one was a bass and another fish came to the popper 3...

Tippy Dam 3 Species October 3

I got 3 fair fish pretty quick after arriving late morning, all on a 10mm UV yellow Glow Bead I call Hot Musdtard.  The parking lot looked peak crowded but most people were scattered down stream and some were heading back up the stairs.   The brown was a slim 14 inches with some previous damage to the back side jaw where I hooked him on a #4 barbless hook.  The coho was about 28 inches, looked like 9 pounds.  Next fish was a 10 inch rainbow Skipper.   A few more fish on briefly that might have hit and...
