Saltwater Hooks
Stainless (SS), Nickel (Ni), Black Nickel (BN) or Tin (DT). All of these hold up fine for Saltwater use as long as you can completely rinse flies in fresh water after every use. That said, If any fly gets a lot of use, rust stains will begin to accumulate on materials where they contact the steel. The stainless finish holds up better, but Plated Hooks are frequently stronger steel, sharper and have smaller barbs that are set further forward from the bend.
