Steelhead Hooks
These hooks are for nymphs, eggs, wet flies, streamers and jigs that are strong enough for Midwest Steelhead and Salmon targeted by Bottom Bouncing, Center Pin-Bobber Presentations or Fly Casting with or without a small split shot or strike indicator.
Strong is good but heavier than necessary also causes a bottom bouncing presentation to fish lower than the prime strike zone. Thick hooks make it harder to hook light bites and more likely to foul the bottom or the fish.
