Fished the Huron River Mouth with a flashy White 2/0 Dive Banger that has been great for Bass and Pike in Lake Erie connected waters. I paddled from the launch out to near the end of the dike. Tried different weed cover and open water but all the fish were on the edges of the dying giant lily pads.
Nine bass 15 to 18 inches of 11 hooked. Only a few smaller, one was 14 inches. The two that came off were bigger than 18 inches. Wasn't sure one was a bass and another fish came to the popper 3 times and I thought it might be a Bowfin. Didn't see any Pike.
